Just as Obelix fell into the cauldron of magic potion, Marc-Olivier Rinchart was introduced from a very young age to the concepts of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements through his parents. His father, an acupuncture physician, is the founder — together with his wife — of Éditions SATAS, the very first publishing house to release books on Chinese medicine and acupuncture in French in the early 1980s. For his part, Marc-Olivier, who has been passionate about Feng Shui since 1998, began formal training in Chinese metaphysical sciences in Asia in 2004, after completing university studies in Romance languages at the University of Brussels. In 2008, he founded Éditions IFS, a publishing house that publishes books on Chinese metaphysical sciences, Taoism, and Buddhism. Marc-Olivier regularly gives training courses, conferences, and Feng Shui and BaZi consultations in Belgium, France, Switzerland, and French Polynesia. Since 2009, he has also been presenting L’Actu Feng Shui ©, an annual conference dedicated to yearly energies in relation to BaZi and Feng Shui, as well as forecasts for each astrological sign. My training path was built alongside the greatest world references in Traditional Feng Shui.
From 2006, I studied at the MARIP school, concurrently attending the Yap Cheng Hai Academy under the guidance of Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai (2006–2009).
I deepened my practice of Chinese astrology Ba Zi in 2007, followed by Xuan Kong Da Gua with Mimi Moorhouse in 2016.
From 2017 onwards, I dedicated myself to Yang Gong Feng Shui, studying under Master Yang Kim Voon, before being received in 2022 by Shifu Liao Dexin, 38th lineage holder of the Yang Gong Feng Shui of Liao Yu, from the village of San Liao (China).
In 2024, I was officially appointed Director of the France branch of the Cultural Research Association of Yu Du County (China), dedicated to Yang Gong Feng Shui.
In 2025, I furthered this study under Grand Master Duan, 38th lineage holder of the Yang Gong Feng Shui of the Zeng family of San Liao (China).
